While Porsche was hesitant to sell their Porsche 935 evolutions, some teams then embarked on the construction of their own versions of the 935. This was the case for Kremer Racing, which developed the 935 K1, K2 and K3. The latter came into legend by winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1979 in Dantesque weather conditions!
